The Essex County Division of Youth Services is dedicated to empowering, protecting, and guiding the youth of our community toward a brighter future. We provide resources, programs, and opportunities that support the personal growth, safety, and success of young people across Essex County.
We offer a variety of programs and initiatives designed to meet the needs of Essex County’s youth including:
Juvenile Justice and Prevention Programs
Community-based initiatives, diversion programs, and intervention services to keep youth on a positive path.
Mentorship and Leadership Development
Guidance and support from mentors to help young people build confidence, set goals, and develop leadership skills.
Education and Career Readiness
Job training, internships, and academic support programs to prepare youth for future success.
Youth Mental Health and Wellness Support
Access to counseling services, crisis intervention, and emotional well-being programs.
Recreation and Enrichment Activities
Sports, arts, and community service programs to keep young people engaged and active.
