Newark, NJ – Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. (center) congratulates Elizabeth Wakeling (left) from Maplewood, originally from England, and Pelle Nogueira from Glen Ridge for winning the 2024 Essex County Cherry Blossom 10K Run in Essex County Branch Brook Park in Newark on Sunday, April 7th. Wakeling was the top female finisher with a time of 38:03.33 and Nogueira was the top male finisher and overall winner with a time of 31:53.53.
